Washington, D.C. photographer Chester Simpson provides wedding and event photography services to the Virginia, Maryland and the DC area, and destination locations around the world. His 30 years of experience as a photojournalist/rock-n-roll photographer covering concerts, inaugurations, and major events for Rolling Stone, Time, People, and Newsweek magazines, allows him to document events in a friendly and accommodating, unobtrusive style. He’s always in the right place at the right time. Chester Simpson started his career as a Rock-N-Roll Photographer freelancing for record companies, MTV, VH-1, 60 Minutes and major magazines. From 1990 - 2003 he also completed 35 World Tours with Celebrity Entertainers doing USO shows for our US soldiers based all over the world.
Chester Simpson Photography combines a traditional and photojournalistic style of coverage to artistically capture both posed scrapbook-quality images and those wonderfully imperfect, candid, emotional moments of your special day. We work with you, efficiently and unobtrusively, to give you images that you'll love and cherish forever.
Our wedding packages are designed to give you the freedom to make your own prints at home or at your local photo lab to create your own album.
Your photos can be produced in Color or Black and White.
We post a complete set of images of your wedding on our website for family and friends to be able to re-live the moments, enjoy and order prints.
A DVD with high resolution images will be given to you, ready for you to make your own prints, and create your own albums when you return from the honeymoon.
Also, we can create a DVD movie of your wedding images put to music of your chose.
